Day 1: Foundations
We will kick off this EXCITING challenge on DAY ONE by showing you the fundamentals of the yoga practise. The most important thing to do when starting a new fitness modality is to get the basics right. This is where we will explain the strategy behind the alignment and how to use props, not to make it easier. But to get the correct technique on how to use your entire body for strength.
Day 2: Flow On Foundations
Now that you've mastered the foundations and the modifications, got all your equipment and props sorted and set your practise schedule, the next step is to put what you learnt in Day 1 to practise. We use the strength and foundations from Day 1 to bring more flow, more heat and more intensity
Day 3: Refining Alignment
So Day 1 and 2 were all about learning the basics of Sun A & B and into Vinyasa Flow. From there we can start to move into more static poses, understand deeper alignment of Warrior poses. With longer holds these poses require more refinement and we have more time to cue and explore. Starting to introduce more anatomy and embodied practise.
Day 4: Flow The Warrior
Ok now we will start to build on from Day 3 with a Sun A warm up into a Sun B Flow using the alignment principals from the Warrior poses. Expect to sweat in this 30 minute session as we build heat and master strong transitions and use the practise to master graceful transitions and powerful alignment.
Day 5: Super Power Flow
The finale of the series as we use the fundamentals of the practise and cues. This sequence is simple BUT powerful. Get a towel and expect to sweat. Masterful transitions and deep integration into the centreline of the body, this practise epitomises the power yoga practise!
